With 20+ years in the AV industry and a CTS certification, I've worked across the full spectrum of this field — from boots-on-the-ground technician to systems engineer and project manager. Since entering the industry in 2006, I've supported over 200 AV installations across some of the most demanding environments in the business: DoD facilities, Houses of Worship, and live concert venues.

I hold an Associate of Science in Show Production and Touring from Full Sail University, and that foundation in live production has shaped how I think about every system I design — precision, coordination, and zero margin for error when it counts.

The AV Project Journal was born out of a problem I kept watching repeat itself: teams out of sync, documentation that didn't survive handover, and talented technicians without a structured framework to carry a project from kickoff to closeout. I built this tool to change that — giving AV teams a common language and a consistent standard they can actually rely on throughout every phase of a project.
